About Us
"Uplifting Minds II" entertainment conference was founded in 1999 targeting local artists
to provide information and education on the entertainment business, and a stage to showcase their talents in several areas
(vocal, songwriting, and dance). The discussion panels provide opportunities to meet high-level entertainment executives and
artists. Its popularity drove it annually to Houston, Atlanta and Los Angeles holding up to five dates a year.
Currently it is held annually in Baltimore (Virtually in part by
Security Square Mall & The Baltimore Times) and Los Angeles (Virtually in part by The Pulse of Entertainment).
The "Uplifting Minds II" entertainment conference is free and open to the public. The Professional Showcase of artists
signed to independent labels, agencies, and management companies only showcase three acts per day. Its national talent competition
only showcases ten acts that qualify per date.
